And here we go again. This is our master bedroom. So actually I do not do any "critical" listening here, but I do like to listen to the music when I am getting ready to sleep,or reading a book...and that's an electric fireplace on the wall, not so much for heating but just for romantic set up.
So I got this Dared 2A3 SET amplifier, the second one I have( yes,I got two). I liked my first one so much that when I sow one on eBay really cheap because it had no tubes and was listed as probable non working/untested condition,I thought that $250 is NOT that much to spend. So I put original tubes which came with my first Dared and it worked just fine with no audible problems. I had a set of Monitor Audio 9i from my previous secondary rig(turned out I amassed a bunch of speakers), so I hooked them up to Dared, added brand spanking new NODE N130 and VOILA! Another very simple and sound wise satisfying system.
Oh, and cables are ZuAudio Bock power cable and Zu Audio Mission interconnect.
Thanks. Simplicity is a key! I don't do any critical listening on either of mine secondary rigs but I do like to enjoy quality sound when I relax without the need to use unnecessary equipment.I used to have CD players in every system but it was too much hassle. Streamer on the other hand is very simplistic to use without even the need to get up and change the music- I can do it from my phone app and choose to stream various sources: music stored in the Vault, Amazon or just internet radio, all in high resolution.
