Thanks - b_limo

The Quads are lovely speakers for small rooms. The mids and highs are just sweet, but still have good detail. For jazz, light classical, acoustic, vocal material they sound fantastic, especially with the Naim. And, for the size of the speaker/woofer, they have no rights putting out the amount of bass that they do. (the bass traps help). Thanks again, much appreciated :-)

Nice setup!  I’ve been curious how those quads sounds.  I had a pair of quads years ago and quite liked them.  The Audiolab cdt is sweet!  I had that and sold it for the cambridge cxc.  The Audiolab is better!

Thanks both. mjcmt,  you're correct about the stand. I've got some Witch Hat Phantom speaker cable on order (longer than the current cables), these will allow me to move the rack from in between the speakers 👍

This is my kind of system. Wonderful no frills compact audiophile system.

My only concern is the pine audio rack. You will be amazed how a pine structure robs and sucks the life out of the sound, until you use better materials to enhance it.
