@frozentundra   I used to own LS50s, but the Jades are more to my liking.  Great bass, a bit warmer, and wider soundstage.  They're easier on the eyes too :) I actually took the SVS sub out of the system for the time being.  For most of the music I listen to, the Jade's are enough.

I still own a Clearaudio Maestro V2 & Ortofon 2M Black for MM, and an Ortofon Kontrapunkt B MC cart.  Love all three of them, but just was curious to all the hype behind the Hana.  Basically most reviewers are spot on, it's fantastic and will be staying put for the time being.

As far as phono stages go - I have owned a few standalone units from PS Audio, iFi, and Parasound, and have owned/auditioned numerous integrated amps with built-in phono stages.  None have been very bad, but I like every aspect of the PH-10 more than anything else I've tried.  I haven't spent more than $2k on a phono stage though, so I know there are many other great choices out there.  That being said, I have no itch to upgrade on that front.

Hana SL

Very popular choice today ! For cartridges
I looked for a PH-10 at AXPONA, but could not find

What Phono stages & cartridges have you tried before you ended up at this juncture

How is Hana ?

@frozentundra  Thank you.  I love the PH-10, and it has worked wonderfully with a few different table/cart combos, including the Clearaudio.

I just installed a Hana SL, and like other MC carts I've tried with the PH-10, it's a match made in heaven.  Loan/Gain adjustments with a push of a button is a very nice feature, and makes dialing in the perfect sound easy.

Great choices ;

How do you like the Gold Note Ph-10 with the clearaudio?

I’m about to take the LP plunge & they were at top of list

Thank you @amvm73 I've had a few pairs of LS50s, great speakers!

Indeed, my little Bel Canto s300i puts out more than enough power to make my not-very-efficient LS50s really sing, and it barely gets warm when doing so.
Lovely system, robelvick!

@gadmanrdh

@thosb

Thank you both!  I chose the amp to match my preamp, and I'm also not afraid of Class D, ha.  Affordable (to me) and wonderful sounding.

Cables are Morrow and Audioquest mix.

Beautiful, well presented room!  Curious how you chose your amp, also what cables are you using?
