Thanks guys, the baby Parasound is used when I watch tv and for casual listening sessions. You'd be surprised how good that little sucker is, on many levels it rivals the Threshold at lower volume.

I've added a SVS SB2000 sub to this recently and it is everything the reviews say it is.....amazing. I moved the Threshold to the top of the rack and the sub is underneath everything. Was worried about this placement but it has only added to an already great soundstage. Overall I'm really happy with this setup.

Next is a proper rack, looking hard at the Salamander as it will allow the sub to be underneath the rack on the floor...not on a shelf.

Nice system.   I've had too downsize as well, so I think we've had some of the same things to consider.   It looks like you found a number of components that punch above their weight, and paired with a classic powerhouse amp, probably sounds really good.

The Threshold amp is awesome.  If parts are available, I would recap and hold on to it.  I had a VSP Transmos amp from the late 80's.  It wasn't quite the legend of your Threshold, but I thought it sounded amazing.  I wish I wouldn't have sold it now.

What are you using the Parasound amp for?

Happy listening.

Looks good!
