Hello, have now listened to the Elac 607 ce speakers a longer period. Must say that they are the best products on the market (recommended). A slim konsept makes you feel a Transparency out its like, homogeneous and very dynamic sound.,. Maybe it's the size that makes them less attractive for the sound they present is very large :::)) Monitor lovers should be a good effort worth hearing them. ::))
Focal is a wonderful, beautiful speakers,,, ELAC is a brighter cleaner less colored. ::)) there's more information.
Hey, thank . . I have had DG long enough to say that everyone should have this product .. It balances the sound so it's like on both channels, so there are almost no bad CDs, it is a myth that as soon as it sounds bad, it's a bad recording. With 38 Accuphase DG can play a wider style of music. I would rank it the most important in the system //Maxen
Now, I have had these wonderful speakers in a few months and I'm terribly impress. They play with an authoritative, which I have not heard before. Just greatness and presision with a pleasant credibility stagger many listeners, including, me. Price contractions as a minder concern in view of performance, they are so easy to drive, so you do not have to worry about amplifier !!!!!!!!!!!! My god A60 class A can play so loud that it believes it is the disco amplifier he he ...
Jeff!! Hey Thanks! It is custom-made and tested with very good results, in fact, there is not any vibration at any given ...(:- material Norsk Labrador stone (very heavy) it is then a pckning which it uses to car engines, which then lies on a MDFskiva All then rests on the BDR cones! The stone over the speakers is machined down into the concrete floor:: try,,, The base becomes extraordinary!
Thank you for the estimate, you have just a very nice system.
Scala utopia has a very nice dynamics and the bass is much more subtle an Ex Mezzo Utopia and my Ex Sophia2. I think the mid bas code still raises the most, as electromagnetic states settled with the right body and more authoritative!! It feels like a new generation of speakers who plays better on all pouches .... I listen to Wilson Sacha and can testify that they play quite similar but Scala more organic and Wilson more great 20Hz and a bit analytical! Scalas mid bass is a killer!
This is a wonderful setup you have. Do you have experience with the previous generation Utopias, ie. Alto and/or Mezzo. Would be curious to hear what you feel are the areas in improvement over the older designs.
I have heard the Grand Utopia EM and felt that midrange clarity is night and day improvement - a weakness of the Mezzo which I currently own. Of course the bass response was just incredible with the EM bass drivers. How is the Scala with regards to bass extension and articulation?
WOW! I could not be more impressed with your system. I have baby Focals (1007be) and a baby class A amp (Pass XA30.5), so to me, your system is a dream. And I love the diffusors on your rear wall. Altogether, it's an amazing system.
Thank Mikeduke!! A-60 is a great amp, with a very delicate sounds that fill large rooms. You must sometimes be lucky to try the right stuff and I've tried my way in 20 years now, and finally a great result. Same thing if you buy the lottery, it takes time before the big gains.
But it has actually been tested on more gigs at Accuphase and becomes a focal big hammer. Contractions as if Mosfet amplifers waiting for a very good tweeter Beryliun 3-gen. I must say I am a bit Schock over performance.
Enough to Wilson Sophia2 was a good speaker, but this is a "different" level "of course it differs a bit in price.
Again, that looks like a fantastic room. Nice size as well. With 60 watts of full Class A power they must really sing. With that size room I am guessing that heat is not that big of an issue with that amp. To be honest, this is the first Focal+Accuphase combo I have seen. Glad to hear that it is a great combo. And just by the pictures it is easy to see that the Scala's are built very well. Enjoy.
Wow, Scalas, Accuphase and Scala's. That must be a great sounding system. I will say it, I love the focal sound. I have the 1027be's. They sound very good in my setup but I have to imagine that the Scala's are totaly on another planet. My experinence is that focal speakers love class A power so if your amp is class A that must be a stellar combo. Just wondering, how big is your room? Anyway, enjoy your new speakers. I know I would :).
Yes, yes, there are new speakers !!!!!!! A bit early to make crucial decisions, but!! it's in another line .... Bigger sound, you can hear more details and in particular Dynamic monsters! The difference is the larger one I guessed!
MOS-FETs have excellent frequency characteristics, and their high input impedance reduces the load imposed on the preceding drive stage. They also have negative thermal characteristics, which ensures perfect operation stability. Driving these devices in pure class A produces rich, high-defi nition sound that brings out the fi nest nuances in the music. In a pure class A amplifi er, the power provided by the power supply is always constant, regardless of the presence of a musical signal. This means that the amplifi er remains unaffected by fl uctuations in voltage and other external infl uences.
hey JuhaV, yes, Krell is very good amp, but I have heard that it is a different type of hifi audio rig to the other side MOSFET and tub,,, as a bit anemic. Nothing wrong with it if you like that type of sound, I would like to take a couple of EVO mono B, but A60 mmmmmm. The taste is personaly. A65 and A60 is very similar. If you think that Accuphase is cold, so maybe the speakers are too hard anchored!
