Are you using any room treatments in your room? I am building a new house and my new dedicated audio room will be the exact dimensions as your room and I also have the usher cp-6381's. I do currently use asc tube traps and Michael green room tunes for my 13x21 ft dedicated room with great results.
Thanks

System edited: The Consonance Cyber 800 monoblocks will be here hopefully next week. Everything I have read about them has been outstanding plus great word of mouth. Not sure if I will keep my Usher amp as a change up/backup or sell it.

System edited: This Windigo power cable from 6sons audio in Canada has transformed my system. I've got some other upgrades in the works that will include two more power cables from 6sons Thunderbird series and a tube monoblocks.

I have found the Atma-Sphere to out perform the Quicksilver in every respect, faster, greater dynamics, low level detail and low frequency texture is far better, more holographic. The Quicksilver is nice but IMHO, no match. Usher (your speakers?)claim 87dB sensitivity, with (nominal) impedance of 8 ohms. I would only caution that you check to make sure they do not drop below 8 ohms as that could be a problem for OTL’s. You must audition these amps, if possible. Take a listen and you will hear what I mean.

Happy Listening!

I'm curious why your wanting to upgrade your pre-amp. I've heard nothing but good about the 21A. I am using my Arcam AVP-700, but have considering getting a used stand alone pre or maybe the Belles Soloist-3, which many say rivals the 21A.
