Thanks Jon. I actually purchased their previously model Violin used on a whim. I not only liked their unique appearance but was also interested in hearing a ribbon tweeter. I thought they were more natural sounding than the Focal 1007 BE that I owned. I then purchased the SE addition after reading teajay’s review. He referred me to Mike Kay at Audio Archon and I purchased the demo model. I couldn’t be more happy with this 2 way speaker especially in my small intimate music room.

Hey Ron nice looking system and those Lawrence speakers have always looked fantastic to me. Good to hear they sound good too.

Thanks for your post. I wanted a system that was not only musical but also non-fatiguing. Although I listen to mostly jazz and classical these days, there are many older rock recordings that are overly bright. After much experimentation, this is the most enjoyable system since I started this hobby back in 1974.

Nicely conceived system Ron.
